You should start your machine 1.5 to 2 hours before you intend to serve.
Why is there ice on the outside of my machine?
That comes from the amount of moisture in the air. In the same way a glass of ice water “sweats” the moisture in the air condenses when it comes in contact with the cold machine. Because of how cold the machine is, it sometimes freezes. You can try turning up the machine temperature setting to remedy the issue, but it is completely normal and the machine will function fine even if nothing is done.
